Delete your account on mobile
You can delete your account directly in the Berlingo mobile app. Follow the steps below to request and confirm deletion.
Steps in the app
Open Berlingo and sign in
Sign in to the account you want to delete using the sign-in method you used previously.
Go to the Profile tab
Select “Profile” in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app.
Select Delete account
Scroll to the bottom of your Profile and tap “Delete account”.
Confirm in the popup
Read the “Delete your account?” message and select “Delete account” to confirm. Select “Cancel” if you do not want to continue.
Once deletion succeeds, the app signs you out. If an error appears, check your connection and follow the on-screen instructions to try again.
What data is deleted?
- Your learning profile, including your level, goals and learning preferences.
- Your activity history, learning statistics, XP and study streaks.
- Your vocabulary progress, review results and synced review schedules.
- Your account’s local learning data on the device used to delete it.
Deleted data cannot be recovered. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not replace account deletion.
If you have Berlingo Pro
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Manage and cancel your subscription in the App Store if you do not want it to renew.
Unable to delete your account in the app?
Contact us if you cannot access your account or encounter a deletion error. Include the email address of the Berlingo account you want to delete in your message.
